Child's Right

"A child is not something owed to one, but is a gift. The "supreme gift of marriage" is a human person. A child may not be considered a piece of property, an idea to which an alleged "right to a child" would lead. In this area, only the child possesses genuine rights: the right "to be the fruit of the specific act of the conjugal love of his parents," and the "right to be respected as a person from the moment of his conception."

Halloween Costume

Halloween is just around the corner. In school, the Costume Fun Day is on October 28 and I am currently on the look out for a nice and unique costume for my two preschoolers. The boys have been wearing Superman and Batman for the last 3 years. And every year I need to buy a new one since the old one are old and crampy already. My boys are really a certified superhero fanatics. There are days that they want to play superheroes.

Now I need to buy a new one as I find it too boring. Most boys also wear the same in school. I know its the easiest way as it is available in the malls.

Any suggestion? Made to order costume perhaps? Formula 1 Driver? Vegetable? Peter Pan? I knew one in Multiply but I forgot already.

Swimming Party

We were invited for Caele's 1st Birthday party down South. The party started at 3:00 PM but we arrived there at around 6:30 PM as we were still waiting for the boys to arrive from school at 4:30 PM.  Even late, we still wanted to go just to show our face as we haven't met the family for quite some time already.

Obviously, we arrived when almost everyone have left the party. All okay for us as we had a blast playing with the kids. They were just given extra toys and giveaways. Thanks to Mommy Kim.

The party was a swimming party but my hubby did not inform me in the advance, we could have brought their swimming trunks and swim suit for my little princess. Anyway, the boys still went on.. in their brief of course!

Alexa wanted to join her brothers in the kiddie pool but since its late so we opted to let her play hide and seek with Ate Rose. So she was running around and playing with balloons the whole time.

Skype on PSP

The boys got hold of a PSP a few months ago from a visitor. After that, they didnt stop bothering us to have one. Day and night.. complains complains.. at times with extra tears!

We got a package from the US with PSP 3000 inside due to heavy request from the boys. After that, we thought that they would stop. But it was a start of a long fight between the siblings. The boys would fight over the psp until such time that they would hit each other.

We,as parents, cannot stand anymore. So we asked one of our staff to look for a second hand PSP with Php 5,000 budget but in the end we just paid for Php 6,500 just to hasten the finding. Now the boys are at peace with their own unit.

Today, we are experimenting in using one of its application - Skype. And its working.. imagine this, Christoph is in the bathroom doing the number 2 while me, writing about it. yaiks! Have fun anak!

Mommy Moments: Snack Time

Alexa is beginning to be a certified ice cream lover. She dislikes eating it when she was small. But now, she loves it and prefers to eat on her own.

We used to buy a gallon and just store in the refrigerator but the boys are really an ice cream eater that after a couple of open/close encounter, the ice cream would melt and not so nice to eat anymore.

To avoid that, hubby is now buying ice cream from Dan Eric in their smallest container, its really good for one eating. Not more not less. The taste is comparable to Nestle and Magnolia, and whats important - cheapeerrrrr!!!

A Day at Festival Mall

A typical Sunday afternoon, nothing to do at home, so we decided to go to Pixie Forest in Festival Mall to play with the kids and the kids-at-heart.

First Stop: TOMS WORLD

The boys had so much fun. I also joined them in playing basketball and some table games.  We spent Php 200.00  worth of tokens.

Second Stop: FESTIVAL GRAND STATION

As we were strolling along the mall, the boys saw  this train and immediately said that they would like to ride it. So after our games, we headed to the train station. To ride, you need 4 tickets which cost Php 10.00 each = Php 40.00.

Toddler Tuesday

Saturday is fun day for most families, but for us, its a typical working day. Our company is operational since we moved to Bacoor. But since the workload is not so full anymore, I will try to negotiate with the big boss to make Saturday half day only.

While I am writing this post, I am at the same time bloghopping/adgitizing and I came across

who is hosting the Toddler Tuesday. I added my entry made last Wednesday for this week. From now on, this blog will be joining this photo meme.

What about you? Post yours too and lets share our toddler activities every Tuesday.

Have a blessed Saturday everyone!

Lesson : Different Shapes

My 2 boys are both preschooler and I am grateful that I have chosen a good school. They are both a happy student although they are not so good in their Filipino subject. Thats the problem when the kids grew up speaking in English. Now they are having a hard time, but its okay.. its a process.. at least its better that way than they will speak in Visayan while in Manila.. yup, our mother tongue is Visayan. I am Mindanao while hubby is from Visayas.. kaya bisdak!

Anyway, to freshen my mind, I am posting here the different shapes. I will be posting more on kids activities in school so watch out for it.

Hey, I am already excited to get my kids grade on September 28.

Love You Nutella

According to wikipedia - Nutella is the brand name of a hazelnut-based sweet spread registered by the Italian company Ferrero at the end of 1963. The recipe was developed from an earlier Ferrero spread released in 1949. Nutella is sold in over 75 countries.

This is also available in the Philippines and is the favorite bread partner of my kids. But oftentimes, its just a snack straight from the bottle.

This is a no no for the boys but one day, I saw them eating while watching their favorite cartoon show.

What can I do? Absolutely nothing but grab my camera and started shooting them. They looked great!!! And I must admit, I did it too!

Two Days Single

Last Thursday & Friday, we went to Caliraya Resort Club for our company's teambuilding. We didn't inform the kids as for sure they will make a trouble.

I slept with the girls while hubby with the boys. We had different groups, I was the team leader for Team B while hubby for Team A. It was something special, we were on a competing groups.

Hubby's team won.

Upon arrival, I showed the kids our pictures and they were so mad.. as in anger to the max level to the point that they said : Mommy and Daddy you are fired! Go find a new house. Don't sleep with me.. until they fall asleep.. the last word uttered by Francis was: "I will not share blanket with you daddy."
