Costume Fun Day In School

On October 27 was the children's Costume Fun Day in school. It was also their last day for the first semester and currently enjoying the free days until November 3.

My boys are really super heroes fanatic that in every movie or tv shows, they have their own character. For instance, for Justice League : Francis is Superman, Christoph is Batman. Thats their ultimate choice and most fave characters.

So to reward for them for being good boys and also good in school: a superhero costumes!

Christoph's classmates:

Francis classmates:

They had a small trick or treat in school as well as a little party to celebrate Halloween. The boys were assigned a specific food to share to the whole class. Francis brought french fries while Christoph hotdogs.

How about your kids mommies and daddies? Anything to share here?

Meet and Greet: Timmy - The Goat

As you may have noticed, I just got this new domain from Blogger. I was inspired in naming it Meet and Greet as it is a reflection of my family. This blog used to be "The Adventures of The Corsames" but later on got convinced to replace it with something general, something easy to remember. Oh well, I hope I am right in this.

Anyway, this is my first entry for Camera Critters.

Please meet and greet the new member of our family, our latest pet - TIMMY D' Goat.

The name is given by my son Christoph. I dont know why but anyway the goat is now Timmy.

My boys are really scared of animals. So this is our way of introducing the animals to them.

Uncle C purchased Timmy for the boys at Php 3,000 (USD 70). We wanted to buy also a female goat but not available yet. Apparently, these goats come from Negros and now in the city for you-know-why. For eating of course. What a pity!

We then asked the driver to pick up the boys before going to their Costume Fun Day in school. You can see Christoph pulling Timmy. Now the boys are always excited to see Timmy but for now Timmy has to stay in the warehouse first.

Inflatable Pool

One boring Sunday morning, I was planning to go out to buy some kitchen stuff. I got ready and before I went out, hubby already took out the inflatable pool and began storing water.

The kids were so excited and cant wait to splash into it. While its still half full, the kids were already inside.

I know the boys missed swimming a lot. They used to swim everyday as we have rented a house in Ayala Alabang with swimming pool. So when we moved to this new village in the South, we purchased an inflatable pool.

I must admit I am not a water person so much. Not that I dont take a bath but I just dont like swimming. I had a bad experience when I was young. But my kids and hubby like swimming a lot.

So every time we go to the beach or in the pool, I am always the mommytographer!

Octoberfest 2010 at Sofitel

Our boss is a German and is a member of The German Club in Manila. So for events like, Octoberfest, we are always present. This year we bought 7 tickets at Php 2,500 each.

For this year, Uncle C and I went to Korea for some business dealings. We were supposed to be back a day before our scheduled feast, but because of slight problem with our shipment, we postponed it for a day and so we were not able to attend the Octoberfest this year.

But hubby and the rest of the office girls were of course present! Our tickets were just given to our valued customer.

Smiling hubby.

Our Managers: Accounting and HR

The place was decorated in classic white and blue Bavarian colors and adorned with authentic Octoberfest tables and benches. Its truly like a Munich Octoberfest ambiance!

Food served were of course a typical German food like the roasted pork knuckles, laugen rolls, grilled sausages and various pastries with the over flowing beer.

For all participants, you'll go home with this huge mug.

A world class Oomptah band from Germany, the Guenther Friedmann band kept the guest singing, dancing and swaying the whole time.

Having A Haircut at Davids

These photos were taken before I left for Seoul a two weeks ago. Their hair were quite long so I had to send them for haircut.

As we arrived in Davids Saloon, the staff were hesitant at first as they are too young, they claimed they only accept around 7 years of age. Maybe yes.. maybe not.. but since the other hair saloon were full, I had to convince them that they boys are civil and would behave and besides, I would just be around the corner to watch over them. They finally agreed.

Oh well, true indeed the boys were exceptionally behaved. Well done boys.

By the way, I just made this post using my Blackberry and send it via email. Wow.. I am impressed.. It works fine and fast huh!

Keeping Company Thursday

Thanks to Vhen for I discover about Keeping Company Thursday from Heck of a Bunch .

Hair Accessories

Its Thursday once again and time for my I Love Pink post.

Below are some of Alexa's hair accessories. I purposely display the hairbands and hair clips for easier access. Having a girl is a lot different than boys, not really better but just fun to decorate her hair. She is getting bigger every day and getting naughtier as well. She acts like a boy, obviously as her playmates are her big Kuyas. No wonder the boys calls her princess at times.

When daddy travels abroad, he would always bring something for our little princess and always with hair accessories - well, thats the easiest and safest gift or pasalubong while I am more on the clothing side.

Pink is my favorite color and I pass it on to my little mini-me. I didnt forced her to, she loves that color too! Believe me! :)

School Project

Weeks ago, Christoph came home with his aquarium project. He was so proud in saying that he made it himself. He even explained how he hang these fishes and made the clay decor.

The school lessons these days are pretty advanced compared to my time. Sometimes, I find their assignment difficult that I first have to consult Mr. Google for answers. Thanks to the internet, questions are just a click away!

Happy Birthday Mommy

Today is my 34th birthday, cant believed how old I am now. I stop counting my age when I reached 30. Now every time I am asked, I need to compute first like 2010 - 1976 = 34. Don't get me wrong, I still feel young and I am young.

My kids and hubby woke me up today with a kiss and a greetings "Happy Birthday Mommy".. so sweet to hear. But since I arrived from Korea yesterday, I felt a terrible back pain. I had it massage already from my regular massage therapist, took medication already. But still suffering my tremendous pain. I hope later when my colleagues from work come, I would feel better..

And since I am complaining hard already about my back, I will end this with a thanks to all my online friends, loyal followers and new friends for dropping by!

Thank you Lord for everything!

Halloween Costume For Kids

We currently have a booth exhibiting at the Print & Label Philippines, SMX Convention Center (Booth C21). Our decoration theme is Halloween so in line with that, our sales team are also wearing a Halloween Costume.. so while shopping for their outfit at SM MOA, I cant help but look for my little one as well.

There were a lot of cute costumes but I want something unique for my little one. I bought her this Strawberry outfit at Php 745.00 (USD 17.00). Isnt it nice?

As soon as I arrived home, I tried it on her to her disappointment.. but I am bigger than her so I won! hahaha poor child. She was really crying but thanks to hubby.. he made Alexa smile again. He has his own tricks with his daughter.

After a while, I changed to a chicken outfit which I got from eBay before. This outfit is like 3 years old. Francis wore this when he was 2/3 years old.

She hated it so much.. its really fluppy and for sure very hot inside! This is good for cold weather.. in the snowy world!

My entry for I Love Pink Thursday and Pink Saturday.
