Birthday Preparations for a DIY Ballerina School Party

It is my mini-me's 7th birthday and instead of throwing a birthday party, we chose to have a simple birthday celebration in school and stay at Hotel H20. This is just to fulfill her request of staying in a hotel for her birthday.

Since Alexa is into ballet (now in Ballet 2 at Dance Factory Ballet School in Robinsons, Imus), so I chose that theme for her 7th birthday.

I browsed the web for a sample wordings and designs and found several nice ideas. Thanks to Stickerworld's graphic artist Kuya John for making this beautiful birthday invites using our very own Projet waterbased vinyl stickers printed on dye ink and Epson printer.

For the lootbags, since we have old stocks of Oracal products, we converted some to make this tshirt design lootbag. Pretty right? I put several snacks, candies, wallets and hairbands inside. You can also make one using cartolina or manila paper.

Then Kuya John  made some decals using black Primecal vinyl  sticker and stick it on the lootbag. Nice idea right?

For the food, still the same ballet decals in a smaller size and installed in this handy food container. To make it more attractive and stylish (naks!), we punched Primecal stickers in black and pink.

We prepared spaghetti, fried chicken and 5 pcs grapes with bottled iced tea.

For the cake, I originally planned of buying ready made cake from Goldilocks or Red Ribbon but 2 days before her birthday, she said she wants a nice birthday cake - delicious and nice design in PINK!

That leaves me no choice but to order personalized cake, but my favorite cake supplier has moved to Cebu already. So I browsed the Facebook and Instagram for Bacoor based supplier and luckily found Make My Cake by Mums, Ms. Mayet was kind enough to accommodate my rush order. I paid Php 1,200.00 for this 9 inches cake.

Happy Birthday 7th Alexa. You are such an adorable and loving daughter and sister to your 2 older brothers! Be a good girl always! Stay as sweet as you are...

PS:  you will always be my baby!!

Up next, our Hotel H20 staycation (still Alexa's birthday celebration))
