Vacation is here and the kids are keen on fun activities that they usually choose during these two months. While the boys would love camping and sports clinics, the girls usually go for ballet, culinary and sometimes language lessons. My niece is particularly interested in enrolling in French lessons that will take 2 hours per session and for 3 times a week. Since it is offered in her school, it is also affordable enough for her parents to allow her to enroll. I think French is a very hard language to learn but it also sounds really romantic. I have taken up Spanish when I was in college but because I don’t practice it, I just lost the knowledge of it.

Maybe my niece can use her knowledge of the language and work for a French professional translation service help online users translate French web pages into English. It will be a perfect opportunity for her to keep the language in practice and for her to earn and save money as well. Like any girl, my niece dream of visiting the City of Lights one day and saving up for a grand vacation in Paris as a part time French translator is wonderful start!

The existence of home schooling tempts parents not to enroll their kids in traditional schools. For some, such set-up is ideal since they can closely monitor the studies of their children.

However, there are some advantages of traditional schooling that you cannot get while you’re having it at home. Read on to find out some!

•           Traditional schools will teach your kids in dealing with new people and adopting to a new environment

•           Children will experience field trips and school events that will develop their knowledge, skills, social life and even confidence.

•           Teachers have sufficient academic skills and knowledge

•           Your kids will develop a str0ng friendship with his/her peers.

No matter what type of schooling you prefer for your children, make sure that it can help him reach his goals with ease and fun.

Educating the young ones is now possible with home based learning or homeschooling. Since many parents have their children learn at home, you are probably puzzled of why they choose such learning setting.

Home education is selected for a variety of reasons. These include:

  • Parents want to supplement children’s education by learning more on other aspects.
  • They want to provide moral and religious instruction.
  • Parents are not satisfied with the academic instruction provided in a formal setting.
  • They are concern with the school environment.
  • The children lived in an isolated area.

No matter what the reason behind one’s preference to home education, academic efficiency can still be provided to its students. This is possible if the mentor will exert effort to extend his/ her knowledge on a particular subject to his/her students.

Kiddie Art Supplies

One of the best ways to keep kids busy during the weekends or vacation days is to engage them in extra-curricular activities. You can enroll them in music classes, kiddie camps, karate and other sport activities. My daughter loves to draw in the walls and other flat surfaces. I might enroll her actually when the next art class start in their school. I used to buy all art materials at National Bookstore but a friend of mine has been buying at  MisterArt.com for art supplies. I guess I should check that website too.  Even my other friend orders their home décor and art supplies from MisterArt along with all the colors and paints theyneed.

The school where my kids are attending launches their Creative and Productive Courses for SY 2012-2013. My boys showed it to me the moment I entered the house.  Amazing how they guided me on what  course  to take this year. They are both unaware that there is a corresponding fee should they enroll in these courses.

My eldest son Francis wanted to enroll in :

  • Taekwondo (Php 4,100 – USD 100) for 15 sesssions
  • Badminton (Php 2,000 – USD 50) for 5 sessions

Christoph on the hand chose :

  • Futsal Soccer (Php 2,325 – USD 57) for 10 sessions
  • Badminton (Php 2,000 – USD 50) for 5 sessions

Alexa –  our little princess, once I’ll show her the courses for sure she will immediately choose :

  • En Pointe Ballet (Php 3,050 – USD 75) for 8 meetings

I just hope that some loyal clients will come to my rescue so I can pay these fees.  Any DA here?
